How To Disable/Enable Link History On Instagram

However, to have control over your browsing activity and privacy settings on Instagram, you can choose to disable or enable this feature. There are a few simple steps you can follow.


Turn On Link History on Instagram

This is how you can enable the link history on our Instagram account.

Step 1. Navigate to the “Instagram” app and to “your profile page.”

Go to your Profile.

Step 2. Now tap on the “Menu icon” in the top right corner of the screen.

Then tap on Menu icon.

Step 3. Choose the “Your Activity” option.

Now select your Activity.

Step 4. Scroll down the menu and select “Link History.”

Then navigate to Link History.

Step 5. Finally, tap on “Allow Link History.”

Finally tap Allow Link History.

Turn off Link History on Instagram

To turn off the link history on Instagram, follow the steps below.

Step 1. Go to your “Profile” page.

Navigate to your Profile page.

Step 2. Then tap on “Your Activity.”

then go to your activity menu.

Step 3. Next, navigate to “Link History.”

choose the Link History option.

Step 4. Click on “Opened Link.”

Step 5. Then tap on “Browse Settings.”

Tap on the opened link and tap on Three Dots.

Step 6. Finally, turn off the “Allow Link History.”

Finally tap to turn off Allow Link History.

You have disabled the link history on Instagram, meaning the links you open will not be saved to your Instagram account.
